Hi Kirsty,
Just wanted to say a big THANKYOU!! We all had a super time. Everyone has been talking about it this morning at work, how they enjoyed themselves.
Mike was awesome so was Sue and that Angie she was perfect.
We were blessed with the weather. The view of Rangitoto where we anchored for dinner was fab…thanks Captain Brian.
I hope that there was no dramas from my guys….I believe everyone was well behaved, they were all sad it ended so early. That’s always the way when you have a great night it goes way to fast.
So thanks again and Wishing Mike, Sue, Angie, Captain Brian and yourself a super Christmas.

HI Kirsty,
Just a note to say thank you again for all the help with our trip. Could you please thank Brian and Ros as well. It was truly a memorable trip for the kids and they have said it was the 'best school trip ever'. The parents were wrapped, I think for a lot of people they don't realise this wonderful opportunity is available so close to home.
Thanks again, enjoy the festive season. will be back in a couple of years when we read the book again with the next lot of kids..

  • Join Dolphin Planet on our Dolphin Watch - Auckland! See dolphins, whales and other marine wildlife in the rich waters of Auckland's Hauraki Gulf. Possibly New Zealand’s best kept secret, the Hauraki Gulf is a very rich marine habitat. Its waters and islands are home to outstanding biological diversity and are regarded as one of the best places in New Zealand to view dolphins, whales and sea birds.

  • Whether a wildlife enthusiast or visitor to the city of Auckland, you will be impressed by the array of marine life the Hauraki Gulf has to offer. Playful pods of Common Dolphins are often spotted as well as Bryde's Whales, Bottlenose Dolphins and Orca.

  • Cruise with us in comfort through the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park on MV Dreamweaver, a comfortable, stable, high speed, well appointed 18 metre catamaran, where you will be treated to a day in the life of these special mammals.

  • Enjoy the spectacle of the Common Dolphins and Australasian Gannets foraging within the productive waters of the gulf. Marvel at the wonders of this special ecosystem, as you watch dolphins, whales and seabirds feed in unison right before your eyes. Bird enthusiasts will not be disappointed, as penguins, terns, shearwaters, and petrels are all common sights during our travels.

  • All our tours are fully narrated by experienced staff, which includes a nature guide. We are dedicated supporters of marine mammal research carried out in the Hauraki Gulf. We operate under a special permit issued by the Department of Conservation in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1992.
